Basically, this team excels in personalizing people's experiences. Everyone, everywhere, would remember who you are, what you like and how you like to have it. Front desk made me feel like I own this place, not just a guest staying therein. Food is excellent, quality and variety, especially the Alfredo restaurant (nothing else comes close to their Italian-cuisine experience). We have been 3 times to this beautiful resort (the second time this year) and have already booked for the 4th time in June, always choosing a swim-up room. It is the best in Marsa Alam and the standard of service, rooms, food and cleanliness is beyond 5 stars. All the staff are genuinely friendly and perfectly trained to make every guest feel special, the Front Office and Reception are always ready to meet any request promptly. The resort is extremely relaxing and offers a variety of activities. Although it was only a 5 day escape, we returned yesterday night to Italy very happy with this short stay. I highly recommend it.

Very relaxed stay, the hotel complex is very new and high quality. The hotel beach is very well maintained and offers good opportunities for snorkeling. The quality of the food is good and doesn't cause any problems even for European stomachs 😉 The hotel management can be very proud of their staff, they work very responsibly and are very committed and friendly even in stressful situations. Some places offer excellent takeaway food. There is a public beach a little further away (a short walk across a small desert area) with exceptional underwater flora and fauna. Bring shoes for walking in the water. Please stay above or near the coral (personally, I didn't know there were risks to swimming too far from the reefs, namely sharks. But I didn't see any. On the other hand, there were some exceptional fish! Port Ghalib is a tourist spot but much, much quieter than Hurghada. If someone tries to sell you something, just say ‘La, chokram’ with a smile and everything will be fine. Don't forget to tip a little, as Egyptians earn very little (around €400 per month for a family of four). For activities, I recommend Royal Sea Tours (royalsea-tours.com), who are really great. Nice place to stay for one week if the weather is OK. Very good place for snorkeling or you can watch coral reef directly in the harbor without being wet. Just bring slice of bead and you will see a lot.

We were in Casa Mare Resort super happy.

We were in Casa Mare Resort super happy. We came with our 3 years old daughter so we really appreciate that they have 3 very warm pools. 2 of them are huge and with a bar in it and the third very warm pool is safe for small kids who can't swim yet. Also Casa Mare has a big playground in the shade for kids. Aleso few hours per day is open Kids club with a really nice girl from the animation team. All of them are doing a very good job. Always trying to cheer you up all day long with animation programs. We came without a traveling agency and we haven't any agent, so people in recepcion were always helpful and nice. You can easily ask them about everything through WhatsApp. Food was amazing. Chefs are doing a great job. Choice of food was huge and delicious. Casa Mare has a lagoon with shallow clear water, hot in summer and also bridge to reef. Reef is big and rich in many kinds of fish. You don't need to pay any trips to snorkeling, it's right there. Place is also very good for kite surfing in winter. I was surprised how big our room was and we had a view on the pool and sea. I loved that. We always had the same man for cleaning. Every day he made our room super clean and tidy and when we met him in the hall it was always fun with him. Our daughter loved him, because every day he made for her animals from towels. We are definitely coming back. This place where our 4th hotel in Egypt and Casa Mare Resort was best from tham. Thank you all personal for a wonderful holiday.

Port Ghalib was a small port town that has transformed into...

Port Ghalib was a small port town that has transformed into a touristic place. Not much to see, a nice marina and a small promenade. Famous restaurant/club "Hakuna Matata", led by Polish owners, attended by known artists and bands - worth coming by. Few cafeterias and souvenir shops and that's all.

Soooo...... Let's start with Port Ghalib. Unless you are relaxing before and/or after a diving liveaboard, there is no sane reason to be here at all.... Unless below average food and watered down drinks at European prices are your idea of a great time; there's not a lot to do around here.... Having said that, the Radisson is perhaps the best place to do it..... BTW, the diving was FANTASTIC

Value and price in the expensive port ghalib area is awesome. Big, nice rooms with all you need, including washing machine. Nice balcony’s with (in our case) marina-view where you can even watch marine life. Beds are comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beach access in walking distance with a voucher
