Lovely town, but if you want to spend time in the centre, its best to stay in town or have your own transport. If not, a resort hotel is a good choice too. Altea old town is extremely picturesque, with amazing views of the area. Altea is a beautiful village with an old town center on top of a hill. It's a lively town center with shops, restaurants, live music and beautiful sea views. The balconies and terrace were a nice luxury to enjoy the stunning views to the sea and close by surroundings. The property was nicely decorated and was very comfortable for a group of 6 people. The old town was a short walk away which had lovely cafes and restaurants for alfresco dining. Clare was available instantly to give directions to the property.
