Just one night in this very modern hotel. All was great. The service is top. Room with amazing view to the sea. The hotel gym is the best I ever seen in hotels 👍🏻 not big but very professional equipment. Swimming pool on the roof is very nice, was bit crowded. I know the breakfast should be great, but we had no chance to try

Great hotel, looks cool, well designed and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site (we did not try it) and parking as well. Badalona is a cute place just outside Barcelona (not so close to the center but about 30-35 euros by cab, or you can take public). We picked it because it's just off the highway but were surprised at Badalona itself, which is worth a visit.

Hotel was very clean and there’s a staff member at the front desk late. We came in at 1:30 am and there was someone there to greet us and check us in. The hotel it self is quite far from the centre of Barcelona but with easy access to trains and transit it wasn’t hard at all. It’s also right on a beautiful boardwalk with lots of restraints and shops and right in front of the ocean. Lived how quiet the neighborhood is also. Like the ability to go into the busy Barcelona but then escape to this quiet area.

The unit was huge and very spacious with good closet space! And it included all the necessary kitchen items. It was centrally located to restaurants, beach, etc. Communication with the owner was simple and he responded always very promptly. The restaurants in Badalona btw are excellent!

    BADALONA HAS SOME LOVELY SHOPS AND RESAURANTS. IT HAS A LOVELY BEACH. PARTS OF THE TOWN DIDNT FEEL PARTICUARLY KEEN ON HAVING TOURISTS. IT WAS CLEARLY A RESIDENTIAL AREA BUT VERY FAMILY ORIENTATED AND SAFE.

    Badalona is a great town/city near to Barcelona, which is easily accessible by train and metro. Plenty of great bars and restaurants both on the beach and in the centre. Highly recommend Badalona if you want to be close to the centre of Barcelona, but do not want the mad rush and crowds of the city every day of your stay.

    Our review of our Hotel Mirimar: We have had the most excellent short holiday here. (A surprise trip for my 21yr old). Our room is one of the last to be restored. (The new ones look great). We just did not mind this situation as we have got the best view going. (Overlooking the sea). And the service & atmosphere here is just super. Always a smile and a chat in reception. Happy to assist & advise. Quick to sort any problem. Coffee & water to buy at reception. Safe in room. Kettle if you ask. Parasol if you ask. Beach towels if you ask. Airconditionned room. Really a home-to-home hotel. Just 83 steps to the sand. Crystal clear (though deep) water. Road nextto beach just for joggers and cyclists and dogwalkers. Council thoroughly washed walkways & roads twice in 3 days Many places to eat. Area wheelchair & rolator friendly, (not sure if one can get to water's edge somewhere) Showers on beach, volleyball nets, local outdoor pool, local paddleboard hire. Local train and metro, (quick to Barcelona) I recommend this place I hope to return...VERY soon.

    This my second stay at this hotel and I recommended to my friend who happened to get the room next door! The hotel is very near to the beach (we could see it from the window) near to the train station and a short walk from then nearest metro. The street it is on is well placed for places to eat (the vegan cafe Ingrediente Secreto is literally across the street and is the BEST) - plenty of cafes/ bakeries/ fruit shops. It’s a great location if you love to watch the sunrise from the beach or have an early swim. There are lots of opticians and shoe shops and a choice of clothes shops like H&M and useful home wares shop- they sell everything from cushions to insoles for shoes to umbrellas and face jewels; Great on a rainy day!

    I chose the double room with a private bathroom located outside the room. It didn’t bother us for a one-night stay. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, and the house itself is quite beautiful. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were extremely welcoming, even though I don’t speak Spanish very well. I really appreciated their hospitality as they offer free breakfast and cold water, which is especially useful in the summer! The location is also convenient for getting to Barcelona city center by metro.

    Everything! It was amazing in every way. From being granted early check in and an upgrade upon arrival, to the incredible rooftop area, pool, food and drink options and staff!! Shout out to the front desk crew and the staff at the restaurant to the left of the reception, and we loved Daniel!! Hotel is brand new and was immaculate, was incredible value for money and will always stay here now when visiting Barcelona. Only 20mins in a taxi!

    The Hotel is very close to the train station and literally just crossed the road from the sea. The staff is super friendly and polite and nice. The bed was very comfortable; big bathroom with bath and shower. fridge in the room. If you want to stay somewhere less busy than BCN then Badalona is for you. El-Clot is only two stops on the train and you can use the Hola BCN card.
