Staff goes out of their way to help you, the breakfast is amazing, fresh towels every day, superclean room, comfortable beds. Literally everything was perfect. The location of the hotel is amazing, you can walk parts of the Camí de Ronda in both directions along the coast right from the hotel. There are also a lot of nice villages nearby to visit (Begur, Pals). Extra extra bonus: you can have your breakfast on the hotel terrace on the beach. Hotel restaurant is really really good! I would stay here again!

This is a charming and comfortable hotel right in the centre of Begur. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional welcome and hospitality of the staff. The room was very comfortable! The reserved car parking space in nearby car park was very handy for those with a car. The hot tub upstairs was a treat!

Stunning hotel enjoyed its location, views from the window, a bed was super comfortable and big, smell of shower gel and shampoo. The quality of shampoo is also very good, my hair said thanks. The shower was like a waterfall, so nice and refreshing. Breakfast was modest, but tasty.

This small little hostel is right by the sea and the views are beautiful The staff are fantastic and Carolina was excellent and a real credit to the place - as were all the staff …. And so kind . We were approx 3 hours late arriving with our dog ( they love dogs) after a bad road trip but she and the restaurant staff waited for us and cooked us a beautiful meal … their kindness was unbelievable The room was small but beautifully designed and the bed was very comfortable with lovely bed linen and was very clean The accommodation is over the restaurant…. So in sunnier times it might be noisy but in winter it was very peaceful and we loved it . On our next journey to Spain we would try to stay again and hopefully have better weather and maybe another few nights .

Good coffee and orange juice (+many other nice things) at breakfast. Nice, hard large bed. Big room and terrace (junior suite). Very quiet area and beautifull garden and pool. Really good restaurant and not very expensive. Small nice walk to the beach - if we wanted to leave the lovely hotel;-)

    An attractive small town with a selection of good restaurants and shops. Pleasant to walk around narrow streets with no cars. Close to some lovely beaches and walks in the surrounding forests. Well worth a visit.

    Too overcrowded. Town is dying of success. Most locals gone, no corner shops, fishmonger, anymore. Just a could of butchers. Prices have gone too high due to the avalanche of tourist. Parking is extremely difficult

    We absolutely loved our time in Begur.

    We absolutely loved our time in Begur. We visited in July and it was crowded with both local and international tourists. While it didn't detract from our experience, I think visiting in the off-season would be amazing too. Make sure to book all restaurant reservations ahead of time. The town has a perfect blend of charm, history, and natural beauty. From the cobblestone streets and colorful houses to the breathtaking coastal views and nearby calas, every day felt relaxed and special. There’s a laid-back elegance to Begur—great food, friendly people, and a great vibe that made it easy to unwind. An excellent spot on the Costa Brava with easy walking, hiking, biking, or driving access to nearby coastal coves, beaches, and historical towns. We can’t wait to come back.

    If you are looking for some sort of nightmarish fun fair...

    If you are looking for some sort of nightmarish fun fair experience on the Costa Brava visit Begur. We first came here some 25 years ago but oh has it changed!! Cheap restaurants, loud music and line dancing in the main old square where children used to play in the evenings. Tacky jewellery shops and fast food outlets. Such a shame that such a beautiful old and interesting town has sold itself out to down market tourism.

    Begur is an upscale village.

    Begur is an upscale village. A bit touristy but very nice and clean. No graffiti, no dog poop, no homeless. There are several beautiful beaches nearby to choose from. We would love to come back, or even buy a vacation property here. Just gorgeous! The little pizza place near our hotel surprisingly has excellent Italian food.

    Nice historical city, nice view point from the castle, but...

    Nice historical city, nice view point from the castle, but nothing more to see there, unfortunately the shops were closed btw 11-17o'clock, some restaurants were open to have a beverage. For short visit it is sufficient.

    Great location, and most importantly, they offered parking right next to the hotel, very downtown. Otherwise, it seemed hard to find parking at a reasonable distance if you need to carry your luggage. Restaurants and stores are right around the hotel, we got great advice about which beach is best in which wind conditions.

    Lovely boutique hotel in the old town of Begur so everything is very near by. A great deal of effort has gone into creating a very comfortable and interesting hotel to stay in.     This small Boutique Hotel has a good location in the center of old town Begur (no parking directly at the hotel but easy parking in the street 3min away - at least in the off season). Highlight was the sensational breakfast - mostly homemade and made with lots of love. Thanks Begur team
