    Barcelona is a wonderful city!

Barcelona is a wonderful city! I would recommend choosing a few places to see if you only have 3-4 days there as it is a large city and things are very spread out. Staying near Sagrada allows you to have time to visit the Basilica and Park Guell easily. While staying in the Gothic Quarter lets you explore that unique area easily and Bacerloneta beach is within a 20 minute walk. I would definitely suggest using public transit if you plan to visit Montjuic as it is very far on foot. If you are going to use cabs then I would suggest the City Cabs instead of Cabify or uber as these are both super slow an arrive an unreliable times which can be stressful for the aiport. Plus the cabify location is really hard to find at the Barcelona airport. There is no need to carry cash with you, everywhere accepts Visa transactions even small groceries and vendors. Keep an eye on your belongings at all times, dont' leave luggage attended and have a hand on your bag and everything will be fine, the city felt very safe!

It was late on a very rainy Sunday evening when we arrived, so we didn't see much at all. We were planning to walk around Barcelona, but due to thunderstorms, we went straight to the hotel. Barcelona seems like a big, busy city so not sure if we will return.

Beautiful city with lots of attractions.

Beautiful city with lots of attractions. It is set up to accommodate tourists with lots of options for sightseeing. It was also a walkable city with plenty of restaurants to take tapa/ Drinks breaks. Tickets for the Sagrada Familia need to be bought a few weeks in advance.

Beautiful city with so much outdoor space.

Beautiful city with so much outdoor space. So much to see although with all the tourists it can be a bit overwhelming. Don’t come in peak season. We came mid September and still busy. Downside is all the graffiti everywhere on every space available,

Many things to see, places to eat and much more. We did not see everything that is recommended, but La Sagrada Familia needs pre-booking with tickets, and the rest of the city is very big. Casa Batllo was not our favorite and we did not see Park Güell. We focused on walking around and seeing what we passed.

I loved Barcelona—the people were great and the team at The Social Hub Hotel were excellent. What spoiled it was taxis: prices were wildly inconsistent. A 12 km trip ranged from €28–35 (with traffic) to as high as €60. In a few cases the meter showed ~€28 but I was asked for €45. It left me feeling I had to pay whatever was demanded.

Excellent position of the hotel for sightseeing, in a side street of La Rambla, a minute away from a subway station. Although the hotel is in the quarter Raval and there's street prostitution around the corner, you should not be afraid. Inside the hotel there's a green courtyard, perfect meeting point, when you travel with groups. And an oasis compared with the noisy streets outside. You will have problems to find a better hotel of this quality and this cheap prize in the city centre of Barcelona.

The room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. Good bed and a very good working space. The space at the top floor to work and relax was also great as i could use it while waiting for my room te get ready. Breakfast is immense, very scrumptious! The hotel is opposite the congress center which is extremely convenient and 4 min. from the metro so well connected to Barcelona city centre. A really nice surprise was a bottle of cava with 2 glasses delivered on my birthday!

Everything was perfect and reflected the high standards that the hotel offers. The staff were super friendly and helpful all the time. The room was a good size and had all the comforts. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. The metro station is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, which will take you to the city centre in just 20 minutes. If I am in Barcelona again, I will choose Tembo for sure.

The staff was super nice, especially the male receptionist (Carlos?). The hotel is in a quiet area with many local people. Not too many tourists. It is a great place to stay if this is not your first trip to Barcelona. Easy access to the city center and beach with buses and metro.
