Newly opened and managed expectations well. Very welcoming as we arrived by bicycle. Great facilities for bicycle storage and cleaning almost complete. Chef engaging and food well prepared catering to a variety of tastes. Pool area is exceptional

amazing ,amazing very old building enough space in the sleeprooms and overall a nice experience if u like history and old buildings you will feel very well and adventurous.the imagination what the building has gone thru is really fascinating . Very nice host family and aloud to bring your dog.

The apartment was extremely clean and was very practical for what we needed. The host and her family are very hospitable, accommodating and friendly. They are very respectful of your privacy and space yet always available for any question or need you may have. There are friendly dogs and cats and cows surrounding the property (worry not! Theres a fence keeping them outside the property garden). The surroundings are breathtaking and the infinity pool to die for. Very quiet location yet easy to drive to nearby destinations.

A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Gorgeous setting with sweeping views. Rooms are beautifully designed – especially the bathrooms. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful and very delicious! Our hosts were lovely people. We enjoyed a peaceful two night stay at Can Jan. Also the nearby town of Besalú is a medieval gem with a beautiful bridge entrance and some great shops and restaurants as well!
