We were met by the rep/owner, who showed us to the apartment. It was lovely and clean, had everything for self catering. I did all our washing before we came back and it all dried very quicklly. There was a fan in the lounge and also one in the bedroom over the bed with a remote control.The bathroom had a bath with a shower, but was low enough for my husband to get in and out safely as it also had a shower mat plus a nice unit for all our personal shower stuff etc. The lounge was very comfortable with a sofa and dinning table, plus TV with lots of channels in English, some very old comedy shows, which was fun to watch. There was a nice balcony, althougth it faced the carpark, but again sitting in the sun with a parasol was nice.The apartment was nice and airy. It wasn't far from shops and supermarkets, resturants and walking distance to the beach, which had lots of seats. Definately would recommend this place and the neighbours were very helpful. This is a resort for families or youngsters.
This is a resort for families or youngsters. If you want "sophisticated" adult only type resorts, don't come here. Again if you want a traditional Spanish/Canarian experience, try another resort. Vast majority were British with just a few other nationalities, sometimes a little noisy but always good natured. Big plus point is its proximity to airport. If you travel light and enjoy walking it is just within average "healthy person" walking distance. The twice weekly market, mainly aimed at tourists, is worth a look just for the fun of it. I was all inc so cant comment on eating places. Much to my surprise there is a quite prominent local cat charity that cares for strays cats and these animals are often friendly and well fed so no need to feel guilty about giving them a stroke and then walking away.Guest review byBobUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I like Caleta De Fuste - I’ve been there several times. The weather was very warm every day - perhaps a bit too warm for myself. There are lots of lovely walks. Have been maybe 7 times, do love the area, mainly the breeze of the island as it keeps you cool, easy to get a taxi, from the airport as its maybe 15 - 20 minute transfer, 14 euro. Beach party lovely atmosphere and great entertainment. Comfortable bed and beautiful, priceless ocean view from the room! Caleta de Fuste is a small town with few attractions and beaches. Okay for a short vacation, or for those who rent a car. By the local bus you get in 20 mins to the airport or in 30 min to a big city of Puerto del Rosario. Taxi are really cheap 6 euros from the town centre and 3 euros frim the shopping mall. Great private garden with nobody overlooking you, 5 minute walk to Salinas golf club.
