Calpe was beautiful, it is well located so you can visit other places also like Benissa, Altea and Alicante (all by car and train I believe). The beach front at Calpe is lovely, clean, friendly. The Saturday market was fun and it was great to see the old salt marsh with flamingos! It is a very hilly town so be warned there are steep hills to climb. We love Calpe, have been coming for 30 yrs, even then my Dad thought it was becoming too built up, he always wondered where everyone would park but it hasn’t seemed to change the wonderful feel of the town.
