It's great for a totally relaxing time at a beach location. The beach is good with plenty of safe swimming areas, a beach bar and a supermarket directly beside it, along with a water-sports centre. There is no loud music blasting out and the atmosphere is calm and chill. The age range in the area is mainly older / retired couples. Also some young families. Lovely hotel with a brilliant beach on the doorstep. Excellent food from buffet breakfast, to poolside lunches and a la carte dinners. Room very comfortable with all amenities, very clean. Beautiful bay and scenery! Great restaurants in the area like Maria 5 (great Sushi!!) and restaurant Illeta. Short distance to Port Andratx (less than 10 mins by car). Camp de Mar is a small resort but has everything needed, most importantly a gorgeous beach and wonderful surrounding scenery. A few shops, a reasonable selection of bars/restaurants, and some small supermarkets. There is an excellent bus service to either Andratx one way or Palma the other. Peguera is livelier and just about 5 mins drive, or Santa Ponsa a little further. Taxis are hit & miss which can be frustrating, and seemingly difficult to order unless it’s an airport run. Great resort. Mostly Spanish visitors . Enough restaurants and bars. Beach has secure boxes on sun umbrella stands for belongings eg keys etc . Probably too quiet for families with teenagers and young adults. Other more lively resorts within taxi ride. Beautiful surrounding area area. Toilets on beach. Also facilities for people with disabilities. A portable hoist on beach/toilet area and beach friendly very large wheeled beach buggies for disabled people to enjoy beach and get into water. The whole place is spotless and very well taken care of, which made us feel so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, definitely one of the highlights of our mornings. We were also upgraded to a suite with a private swimming pool, and it was absolutely incredible, such a special touch that made our stay unforgettable.
