    As my husband is not very mobile, El Medano is ideal as it is mainly flat and easy to walk. There is a wooden boardwalk along the sea front. Restaurants, shops a large square and a childrens' play area are all within easy reach.

    I like that El Medano is not a tourist town.

    I like that El Medano is not a tourist town. Although there are tourists there, they try to cater for them in a non-tourist way. No Irish bars, no beer price wars down the promenade and no signs for full English breakfasts. People are really friendly and the views are fantastic

    We love El Medano, We usually stay in Los Christianos,...

    We love El Medano, We usually stay in Los Christianos, however this was a very different holiday for us, everything was at hand, El Medano is very easy to get around, the local people are very welcoming. MEDANO4YOU staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. We will definitely stay here again. Loved it.

    Not as touristy as Los Christianos or Playa de las Americas...

    Not as touristy as Los Christianos or Playa de las Americas but still plenty of cheap restaurants, bars and cafes. I didn't notice any discos or nightclubs (but there may be some). Good for small children. Safe.

    I fell in love with El Medano town.

    I fell in love with El Medano town. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the smallness of the town which meant it was easy to navigate. Though small there were plenty of good restaurants and cafes. I enjoyed the farmers market on one of the days abd generally being close to the sea and being able to swim regularly was lovely.

    El Medano has a great atmosphere with a busy restaurant lined square with lovely winding streets with shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. It has some excellent restaurants, particularly La Gula and Naife. Both serve excellent food and wine and offer excellent value for money. It's hard to beat Playa Chicas for lunch on the terrace. The atmosphere is amazing!

    Either you use this hostel as a base to explore Tenerife or you are a digital nomad looking for a place to work during the day and socialize during the evenings this is the place for you. It's a great place to meet people from all over the world and just relax and unwind in a chill atmosphere. I really enjoyed using the coworking spaces and seeing the sunrise over the ocean 🌊

    – The location is excellent — right by the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops in El Médano. Next to the hotel is a national park with a mountain that we hiked up to. – Staff were generally friendly and helpful. – The room was simple but clean when we arrived. – The cleaning staff and janitor responded quickly when we reported problems.

    Very clean, fully equipped, AC worked great, wifi worked very fast. We really enjoyed our stay because of really nice location and beautiful accommodation. A big plus is also a parking space in a garage (it is a bit narrow but it’s manageable :) ). Host was very responsive and nice. We are definitely booking this apartment on our next stay in Tenerife!

    We loved the location and the facilities. Having a private garage especially in this location was great! We never had to look for a parking spot. El Medano is a beautiful place to visit in Tenerife and we didn't have to walk more than 5 minutes to reach all the places we wanted to visit.

    Spacy apartment for 3-4 persons. Very well equipped with all kitchen and bathroom staff. Very convenient location just 200m meters from beach and only few kilometers from airport. Great starting point either to visit POI in Tenerife or enjoy sun and beach. Owner was nice and very open.
