We loved the people, the place and the food. Marta went above and beyond to make us feel like home. She has been so kind and flexible with our requests. She also took the time to give us advices on restaurant, shops and the local area. We have this place as our favourite and we truly hope to have the opportunity to come back! The owners were super kind and warm people, we felt very welcome. Parking a car was easy at hotels private parking space. The hotel was amazingly beautiful all the way. The apartment was decorated with quality and it was big with good bed and soft pillows. Everything was so clean and fresh. There was fresh fruit available with tea and Coffee. We will definetly visit here again!

We had a great experience at this hotel. The room was comfy and clean, we really enjoyed the view, there was plenty of free parking (something which was very relevant for us), we also loved the breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate to come back if we are in the area again.

The first surprise on arriving is that you walk into a fine Catalan bar, which acts as the forecourt of the hotel. The friendly staff made us feel really welcome, explaining the idiosyncrasies of the place (the bar closes on Tuesdays, for example). We were fully informed of how to access the hotel part of the building after the bar closes and shown to our room. The hotel is well situated for rambling around the well signposted local walks (which all start from the square in which the hotel is located). It is also an ideal base for exploring the entire Montseny area. The trails here are varied and generally spectacular. We ate a couple of times at the bar, because there were some fine vegetarian options for me and meaty goodness for my partner. They also had some very nice beers too. If I return to that area I have no doubt where I will be staying.

A small and pleasant hotel, ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I stayed there after a meditation retreat and mainly needed peace and quiet, which the hotel provided perfectly. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the breakfast was tasty. There’s a park and good restaurants nearby. I think I’ll come back again. I fell in love with Santa Maria de Palautordera :)
