Working town - agricultural and furniture making - yet very relaxed and friendly. Easy to visit Caceres - and still enjoy the wildlife and natural environment of Los Barruecos and small town ambience. Loved Plaza with its canopy of umbrellas. Very clean standard, no frills hotel. Very adequate three course dinner, with bread and a glass of wine for just 15eur. Our waiter, Juan, was brilliant. He put a note on our table welcoming us , translated into English , and was very friendly and helpful. We even got a handshake and kisses after dinner.
