We liked very much our stay at Hotel Cordial Morgan Playa. The hotel is big and offers lots of activities and entertainment like bowling, chess and Tennis (even Tennis training is available). The pool was great to swim and relaxing. The food gets a 12 out of 10 (excellent quality and variety). I like very much how they organized the dinner, with different sittings and if you like they assig you a table for the whole stay. The room was big and comfortable. We booked the junior suite and got a big balcony with two loungers and view to the beautiful Chapel garden. Breakfast for the suites was served at the pool restaurant which was also great in both settings and food quality. We liked and enjoyed the hotel very much and can only recommend to anyone looking for the perfect stay in Gran Canaria.

We loved our room, great view to the ocean and it was very calm too. The drinks and the meals were amazing, we could relax completely and spend some quality time. Big shoutout to the animation team (especially Christopher and Adam), very nice people and fantastic shows in the evening!

Playa del Cura was very close to our apartment. The sand is brown. The area is sheltered without lots of waves crashing, relatively calm. There is a Spar grocery store and several restaurants close by. We really enjoyed the Sunday Roast at The Old Brogue. Don't miss out, try the chocolate fudge cake with ice cream.

Playa del Cura is a quiet area, ideal for families.

Playa del Cura is a quiet area, ideal for families. But not too far away from the livelier areas such as Puerto Rico, which was only about 10 minutes away by taxi. It has a few restaurants to choose from if you wanted to stay local and also a convenient Spar shop in the centre. Maspalomas beach was just a walk away along the seafront.

I’m an experienced Paddleboarder (qualified paddle uk coach) - if you’re looking for a paddling adventure then this place is a great location. Two paddle miles one way you land on golden beach. 4.5 miles paddling the other way you get to Morgan. Or be as crazy as I was and paddle from Player Del Cura to Maspalomas beach (12.5 miles, 4 hours) - one way trip then bus back. I was lucky to have been gifted a board all week by # secondreef surf school. Who really looked after me

Seems to be the quietest place along that stretch of coast...

Seems to be the quietest place along that stretch of coast and excellent for 2 week stay. We have decided to have 2 weeks there next winter and 2 weeks on outskirts of Puerto de Mogán so will have quiet but be able to enjoy facilities of the town.

I really enjoyed the tranquility of the place, especially with its location right by the beach. However, the waves were quite strong, so I wouldn't recommend it for small children wanting to swim, though they can still play at the beach. I went in the waves myself, but it’s definitely not for young kids. For a calmer beach, Amadores Beach is just 4 minutes by bus (only €1.40 per person) or a short 6€ taxi ride away. The area itself was quiet, safe, and convenient. There's a Spar nearby, though it’s a bit expensive, but it’s handy for small items. If I stayed again, I'd take a bus to a bigger shop like Hyper Dino for larger grocery runs. The accommodation didn’t have a heated pool, and my kids found it too cold, so next time, I’d prioritize a heated pool. I’d still recommend this place if you don’t mind a cool pool—it’s lovely with friendly people. However, the pool had restrictions like no floaties or balls, and there weren’t many other children around, so it felt a bit out of place for our family. I had to be mindful of keeping quiet, which wasn’t ideal for my kids. Despite this, I’d still consider staying again but would prefer a more family-friendly atmosphere next time.

After driving and boating around the southern coast of Gran...

After driving and boating around the southern coast of Gran Canaria I am pretty sure Playa del Cura is the best resort for those who want a less commercial, laid-back beach vacation. The weather in the area is the best we experienced on our travels around the south coast, there are great (affordable) hidden-gem restuarants walking distance inside and near the resort, and the sound of the waves lulls you to sleep, rather than the sound of thumping club music. If you want to party, this is not the place for you. But if you love nature, fitness, swimming in the clear sea and laying in the sun on a quiet beach I highly recommend it.

Excellent place to stay on Holiday in Gran Canaria. The Apartment is very clean, spacious all amenities provided, ideal little garden to seat and enjoy the evening. Just a few steps from the apartment is the swimming Pool and very close La playa del cura beach. Fantastic communication with the Owners! Would recommend this place to everyone and for sure will be back there once again 😊

Relatively close to various beaches. The hotel pool seemed okay, but in January, it was cold, and only the child went in a few times. The hotel didn’t have a parking lot, but we easily found a parking spot on the street every day

Our Seaview room with the jacuzzi was amazing. I wouldn't go for the regular rooms as they terrace looked small. Everything we needed we got in the room. Also all inclusive drinks was so good compare to other hotels All drinks.
