We were a group of 6 people doing the Camino from France to Santiago (5 by bike and 1 with a support car), and our stay was excellent! There was a safe place for our bikes, easy parking, and we were very well received. Clean and comfortable rooms, and a great location. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer. We highly recommend it to everyone on the Camino – whether by bike or on foot – after many rides and walks, it was just perfect!

Nice hotel, located close to the center. Friendly staff. The windows keep away the noise from the street and the Café below. Thankfully the hotel offers a garage, with medium-difficult entrance and medium-difficult space for steering into the reserved parking space

Authentic, very friendly staff, relaxed and quiet, great home made wine and food. Good for small families, couples etc. I used as a stopover. The owner kindly cooked me a meal on a Bank Holiday when all restaurants were closed.

    Ponferrada seems a really nice city. We didn’t get time to visit the castle or cathedral but our friend did and she said both are really great and well worth a visit. Loads of restaurants and places to eat.

    I loved the City it was clean and well maintained.

    I loved the City it was clean and well maintained. I got lost and a kind Spanish man helped me get back on the Camino. This man walked with me for 4 kilometres until we found the Camino TRAIL. Ponferrada the City should mark the Camino trail better than they have. Even signage within the city saying “Camino that way. A few other city residents did not have a clue on how to get back to the Camino. The Knights Templar Castle was a sight to see.

    It is in a great location for the castle, restaurants, bus routes and a supermarket. I have stayed here before and Carmen is very responsive if you have any questions. The beds are nice and comfortable, and the decoration is very homely. The times that I have stayed there has been milk and coffee there for me to use. The showers are excellent, and the apartment has good heating. I can recommend this apartment very highly and will stay again when I go back to Ponferrada.

    Been here previously. Nice hotel for our needs, close walk to busy town. Good shops opposite in case you require anything. Staff at hotel were first class - thanks to Anna at reception, sorted out an additional room for an extra person. Bedroom was fine. Evening meal was very good for12 euros ish.
