The old town is beautifull with plenty of local people and spaniards from diffrent reagions of Spain. Not too many tourist is good news. There are delicious and trendy restaurants and tapas bars. A good base to explore Cadiz province. It is a working town which I prefer rather than just a tourist resort. There are many villages around Sanlúcar to visit also. You can enjoy the restaurants with good food, listen music and beautiful views. For us is very important the place you have to spend your holidays, after a busy day to find a confortable apartment and plus you can bring with you your dog. Been here for a longer period before Covid-19, after that half a dozen times on a holiday, and will keep on coming back as it a magnificent and friendly little Andalucian town. A hidden gem really. You could choose a room deal to include parking although we actually parked on the road outside. Breakfast was included and the hotel was modern and clean with good facilities.
