We had booked a villa some distance away from the arrival airport and decided upon an overnight stopover part way - this was our choice. The ‘farmhouse’ is remote, quite quirky, beautifully restored with delightful original features. Very very spacious, very clean and comfortable. Access to the farmhouse is interesting but well worth it. The owner is a real gentleman, would I choose to stay again? Definately!

It's clean, quiet, and romantic, with parking right by the bungalows, a swimming pool, and the show... ​Tips: 1. ​Keep in mind this isn't a typical hotel, so be prepared. For example, the hotel doesn't have a late-night restaurant or other similar services. Make sure to read the full description on Booking.com. 2. ​You don't need to buy tickets to Port Bravo during your stay. 3. ​The security guards may not speak English. 4. ​First, you go to the security gate, then you park your car in the common parking area, and then you go to the "SALOON"—that's the reception! :) 5. ​Wear simple shoes like flip-flops or Crocs; no high heels! 6. ​Don't walk inside the complex late in the evening or at night.     A very small town in the Tabernas desert.

    A very small town in the Tabernas desert. We stayed two nights as we wanted to visit the Western towns nearby - Oasys, Fort Bravo and Western Leone. Oasys is the biggest and best with a wildlife park attached ( which we found a little sad ) but the western town was brilliant with three shows during the day - perfect for fans of the Wild West. Went on to Fort Bravo which is smaller and more rustic but I loved the colours of the buildings and found it all more atmospheric. Western Leone is the smallest and a more run-down but still fun. Two days is all you need but make sure you go at the weekends in the winter as they're not open weekdays.

    Tabernas is a one-horse town, sleepy and very Spanish.

    Tabernas is a one-horse town, sleepy and very Spanish. Not much goes on here but who cares? The place is good for prices then you explore from here. It has all the shops you need for food, fuel and other stuff. The town is on the edge of a desert so expect those kinds of conditions.

    Tabernas is a quaint, one-horse town but is conveniently located for the Hollywood/Cowboy experience nearby, as well as the 2 race tracks 10 minutes away. It has all the amenities needed for the stay but is best used as a base to explore the region.

    Welcome from lady, in saloon was very abrupt. I understand why as she was waiting for show in saloon to start. Would have loved to have the facility to make a hot drink in cabin, including a couple of cups. Even though the facilities were basic, we laughed so much at the performances. Customer care however does need some attention, predominantly led by the manager who initially greeted us, other staff were polite, but unfortunately she needed some tuition in customer care

    Tavernas is a lovely town. People are so friendly.

    Tavernas is a lovely town. People are so friendly. We visit frequently to take part in Western activities. This particular weekend was the annual film festival and even with covid we had a wonderful long weekend. Plan to go back again for another Western weekend in November.

    Really good location if you have a car and want to enjoy Tabernas desert, good kitchen facilities, good parking space, nice patio, quiet area (for those like me who don't enjoy city noises ;) ) All in all good place. Make sure you check opening hours of nearby restaurants and/or take your own food supplies for longer stays :) This place is a bit remote ...but that is the beauty of places like this.

    Beautifully decorated hotel with feature stone walls in our bedroom, nice hot shower in the bathroom , nice relaxing garden area with clean, good sized below ground pool and very welcoming hosts. Great secure garage to park in the car in during our stay at 10 euros per night
