Interesting small town. Good range of bars and restaurants.
Interesting small town. Good range of bars and restaurants. The Mudejar design from moorish era very striking. One point I would make that if travelling without a car I would avoid staying in the Parador as there are very few taxis in Teruel and the walk is partly along a very busy road. A real gem: a small and very walkable city but with a lot to offer. Don't miss a visit to the aquaduct, the wall, the underground water tanks, the lovers mausoleum, San Pedro's church and tower, the museum and surely don't miss the wonderful patisserie from the Granier cafeteria! For a one star hotel is certainly delivers, though the cost is also not typically one star. It offers a big room, plenty of heating, a large bed, clean large shower and friendly reception. Also, it is very close to the Autoroute and an easy walk to the centre of Teruel, which is so worth a prolonged exploration.
