Staying in the Jewish Quarter was great as it was away from the main tourist crowds . The main square is very busy with buses driving through, We discovered an amazing spot for tapas- Taverna Botero. Extraordinary tapas with excellent service- enjoyed eating there 3 days in a row. Toledo seemed to have less outdoor eating/drinking places than there were in Segovia which we also visited. I think this was perhaps due to the fact that buildings are so tightly packed together compared to Segovia. Next to bus station. Reception staff were exceptionally helpful. Our bedroom was huge with ensuite shower and large terrace. Hotel was convenient for the town if you take the escalators otherwise loads of steep hills and steps. Breakfast was a little chaotic with the small area crammed at 0800. Superbly renovated line of historical terraces in central Toledo. The attention to detail was excellent, in the architecture, the decor and the hotel finishes.
