The host Jukka is really fantastic and he is like my grandpa to show me everywhere around, offering the boat for rolling, private wooden Sauna and private beach is really amazing, I will come again. The cottage has everything, electricity, warm water for shower, moveable air conditioner. I will come back:)

The breakfast was great with a wide selection and very fresh. The rooms were clean and modern. Ana (Kakola museum tour guide) was so lovely and accommodating, especially for a last minute English tour. Kiitos Ana! The rest of the staff were also very friendly and helpful. I've stayed in this hotel several times during work-related trips and keep returning to it. It has all the services I need: a cozy, clean, quiet, and well-equipped room. As a bonus, the bed is exceptionally comfortable, and I've always had a good sleep there. In my view, Omena Hotel managed to get the balance right - investing in the important things (cleanliness, comfortable beds, sound isolation) and ditching the unnecessary fluff (lobby, reception, etc.). The location is also perfect - just around the corner from the main square on the one side and a scenic walk by the Aura river on the other. It's really an excellent value for money.
