Our ground floor room was spacious and quiet with a comfortable bed. The hotel offers a small pool for a refreshing swim after driving. The hotel is located in a quiet district of the town close to the scenic riverbank; we enjoyed a morning stroll to see the watermills and historic town centre. The charming proprietress looked after all our needs very well, with a nice garden and pool to relax in adjacent to the hotel. The room had been kept cool with closed shutters and the windows open but as the weather was exceptionally hot, the electric fan provided was much appreciated. The hotel was very dog friendly too.
