    Cathedral is great. The roman ruins are pretty good. The town is wonderful to walk around in. In the evening everyone was gone and the streets were quiet and wonderful. The old town is just what you would think old France was like. We only explored half of it, so we are coming back on a future trip!

    Easy to visit Roman remains, all free of charge.

    Easy to visit Roman remains, all free of charge. Bibracte Gallo-Roman centre nearby too. Many interesting villages close by and some interesting insights into life on the canals in times gone by in Grignon and district. Free parking everywhere.

    The hotel is perfectly located near the cathedral at the top of the walled old city of Autun, in a converted nunnery. My room, at the front of the hotel was is the oldest part of the building, was large with high ceilings and a wealth of original features. The room was spotlessly clean with a large comfortable bed, the breakfast in the morning was good with a large selection of home made produce. The secure parking beneath the hotel was easy to access and convenient. All in all excellent value and will definitely stay again if in Autun.

    Everything!!! This was a hidden gem, not originally on our agenda and a last minute booking. Wonderful bucolic location, French shabby chic, such a friendly hospitable owner with perfect English and the food we had for the evening meal was worthy of a Michelin star ⭐. We liked the area so much that we are definitely planning a return visit. Autun town is charming and the Roman amphitheatre and cathedral well worth a visit.

    The chambre is part of a well renovated home on the edge of Autun, close to the historic part of this delightful place. It is very comfortable and easy to access, with great communication and help from the owner. The breakfast provided was excellent.

    Good hotel opposite the train station with secure parking in the rear yard. We had dinner and breakfast and it was all very good. The area has some beautiful countryside.
