The scenery was beautiful viewed from our little apartment. The health spa, which claimed to be the hottest was really cold inside and out. The website looked good but we were spoilt by going to Bains de Saint Thomas first. The photo with the pool with mountains in the background and fantastic weather … it’s all true. We visited in August, we fell in love with the place and would love to come back there. We drove 1400km from the UK to Ax-les-Thermes, AND it’s worth it. My children loved the place, we loved the food in local restaurants and the views that are breathtaking.. We had no problem at all.. Fresh and delicious food, range of wines and other drinks. Super nice hosts, very approachable and always at our service. Communication was facilitated via text messages, too. Visited with our 4 year old son, who did not want to leave at the end :), very family-friendly accommodation. Easy to get to Ax-les-Thermes by the télécabine.
