A small village surrounded by the forest. There are two bakeries, a supermarket, several restaurants. Thursday is a market day. There is a nice church and a lot of trekking opportunities around. Bracieux is a quiet place on the border of Chambord park. Chambord can be reached by bike in half an hour. The place is good to visit Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, to spend a lot of time in the nature. The wine domaines like Cheverny and Tourraine are close by for those who like a nice wine degustation.Guest review byLena C.France

Easy to find and easy to use the lockbox. Bracieux is a sweet little village, with a boulangerie 50m away and the small supermarket in the centre just 2-3 minutes walk. The area was nice and quiet. We loved the village of Bracieux and visited many of the stores there. The location of the accommodation was excellent for visiting the many chateaux in the Loire Valley.
