Le Manoir Saint Thomas is a hidden precious gem of Amboise. It has a prime position to the centre of Amboise chateau, restaurants, shopping and the Loire river. The rooms are clean and have been beautifully and authentically restored, it has a secluded pool and garden and is serviced by the most wonderful of people who made our visit a memorable and delightful experience. We specifically wanted peace and quiet which we had. We also looked forward to eating nice food which we found to be exceptionally well made. The evening meal we enjoyed was a highlight of our time there. The breakfast buffet was well worth having.

This was our second stay at this hotel, we returned with family as loved the first visit so much! The staff are absolutely wonderful and so very friendly and helpful. The rooms we had with the balconies were superb for sitting out on in the lovely sun with a glass of wine! I just can’t praise the food enough here at the restaurant…..it’s the best restaurant in a hotel I have ever come across. Definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return to the Loire Valley soon.
