Perfect get away for a relaxed stay in a fantastic region of France where there is so much to see and do. We went to Les Anderleys and to chateau Gaillard built by Richard the Lion Heart. We were blown away by Monet’s garden at Giverny where all the tulips were out as well as other beautiful spring blossoms. We loved Rouen and visited the fabulous cathedral and Joan of Arc museum before having a phenomenal lunch at La Couronne in the old market square.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom

The owner manageress is very friendly and speaks perfect English. nothing is too much trouble for her, the dining room is pretty and overlooks the water and the food is delicious. Beautifully positioned over the river with wonderful views and a good location just outside Rouen, close to Paris and only 2.5 hours from the channel tunnel. Karine and her team could not make you feel more welcome, dinner and breakfast were excellent and the garden and surroundings were beautiful. The position is in an island in the seine and is stunning. A great pool and lots of land and trees to walk through. The hotel which is an old mill is beautifully converted with great sized rooms.
