Hotel de la Plage was the perfect choice for our family. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were exceptionally kind, and the on-site restaurant was fantastic—the food was absolutely delicious. One of the really few truly deserved 10 star ratings. Amazing historic house, perfectly maintained, stylishly furnished and with parking and a calm yard. Excellent location, close to everything in the city - the beach, the port, nice restaurant, supermarket and at the same time in a quiet street. I can recommend having breakfast as well, high quality typical for the region products, served in the relaxed garden - a perfect start of the day. And last, but definitely not least the fantastic hosts Laurence and Rodolphe, make you feel like you are visiting old friends who take great care of you, to have your full comfort (speaking fluent English and German as well). When I go back to Normandy will be my mandatory stop

Close to the Normandy beaches, which was the reason for our visit to see the Standing with Giants silhouettes. Easy access to supermarket + as we had 2 dogs, there was an English speaking vet nearby to complete the formalities for return to UK.

If you are a history buff, Courseulles is a great location...

If you are a history buff, Courseulles is a great location to explore the main D-Day sites. It is also a good spot for a relaxed family vacation as there are many interesting nature and architectural sites to visit and several excellent trekking trails in the area. As my trip was focused on the 80th D-Day anniversary, I hope to come back and experience the other attractions which Courseulles and the surrounding area offer.

Romain was a most helpful host. His breakfasts were fantastic especially his freshly made orange juice The town is very welcoming with interesting aspects. The oysters on sale at the quay were some of the tastiest we have experienced

Communication was great, we knew exactly what and where to go when we arrived, a lovely little welcome of treats too. Sophie and Sebastian are great hosts, we would definitely stay there again. Courseulles-sur-Mer is a lovely place, lots to see great beach. Never stuck for a restaurant or snack. Would definitely go back.

I was there for the Juno Beach Ceremony of D-Day.

I was there for the Juno Beach Ceremony of D-Day. The whole city was great. Being within walking distance of the Juno Beach Centre was fantastic. As well as being able to walk the beach. Be sure to check out the little restaurant at the one end by the small inlet. Also Cote Plage restaurant with a Mini Golf Course.

Courselles-sur-mer is a sweet little place with some very nice eating establishments - great for seafood. The smell of the harbour and the sight of seabirds picking amongst the fishing trays was entertaining and scallop shells everywhere!

Lovely old property very well renovated by the host Romain. Made to feel very welcome and provided an excellent breakfast. Easy 10 minute walk to Normandy beaches and restaurants. Only has street parking but this was easy. Definitely recommend this gem.
