This is very much a "boutique" non chain hotel owned and operated by a young couple. All interaction with the two partners was fantastic. Extremely friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend people consider staying here instead of the bigger chains. The room was a very decent size, the breakfast was just great with many home made items. This is simply a great place to stay. Parking is abundant in front on the street (diagonal) and two large lots across the street. There was also free parking a bit further away.

We got the family room, and to our surprise, the room had 2 floors with each floor its own bathroom. Nice and spacious and very nice for a family of 5. Clean and staff was always very nice and helpful.

    We found Dinan to be a beautifully kept quiet and...

    We found Dinan to be a beautifully kept quiet and picturesque area just outside of the main tourist areas of Dinard and St Malo. There is an abundance of things to do and great opportunities to enjoy fine cuisine and an endless supply of magnificent wine and spirits. Road and rail connections are available nearby and its a great base to explore Brittainy. One of the most notable attractions is Mont Saint Michel, an abbey that has stood for more than 1000 years. There are hotels to suit all pockets in easy reach some of which are overlooking the beach. Dinan also has its own small airfield where a warm welcome awaits for Private pilots. It may also be possible to arrange a pleasure flight from where you could enjoy spectacular aerial views of the Norman and Brittainy coastlines.

    Dinan is a beautiful and authentically conserved medieval town bursting with character and full of excellent hospitality locations. Well worth a diversion to enjoy the surroundings and atmosphere of la belle France!

    The beautiful old houses & the interesting small shops.

    The beautiful old houses & the interesting small shops. We had some meals at a restaurant at the bottom of the street,. The mussels there were fantastic as was the cider. Generally the Breton gallettes were very interesting & well worth trying as were the crepes, of course. The port area was very attractive & I loved the surrounding countryside & the tree lined roads.

    We only stopped for one night on the way to SW Brittany.

    We only stopped for one night on the way to SW Brittany. We should have stayed longer as Dinan looked interesting. On our way out we managed to visit the ancient Abbey of Leon, just outside Dinan, which is definitely worth a visit if you like old architecture and history.

    Dinan is a beautiful town, particularly the old walled-city part (of course), and its location on the Rance is fantastic. By all means be sure to take at least a short walk along the river (though be prepared for a steep walk back up into the town!).

    A very good experience.

    A very good experience. Splendid old town with many interesting buildings, nice art shops, interesting castle and churches. Very helpful lady at the information office. Parking was convenient, about €15 per day.

There is parking right outside and it is directly opposite the rail station. Spotlessly clean and bright. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again

    Exceptional friendliness of staff and willingness to help. Superb riverside location and handy access to Dinan centre on a free bus without having to worry about parking. Excellent outdoor pool. Breakfast was very good with ample choices. The hotel was full, but nowhere seemed crowded. Highly recommended!

    Charming, comfortable little heritage hotel just a 4-5 min walk from Dinan’s historic centre. Simple but very pretty and tastefully done interiors, and best of all: owned and run by a very friendly, efficient and hospitable young couple who give great recommendations.
