I was unfortunately ill during the whol time of our stay, so the only facilities in town that I can recommend for easy access and use are: the pharmacy, the florist and the cashpoint. Parking was free in the centre of town, but I don't know for how long etc.

Old historical medieval town which is lovely to walk through...

Old historical medieval town which is lovely to walk through. It is a bit hilly and there are cobbled streets. The view from the top is amazing across the local countryside. Local churches and museums to visit and (if lucky) mediaeval fetes as well. Friendly bars and restaurants.

Amazing - what a fantastic one night stay with Gerard & Arcadine, such wonderful warm and welcoming hosts. Beautiful house in the centre of Domfront. We are so glad we opted to dine with Gerard & Arcadine, amazing food, including aperitives in the pretty garden and a wonderful evening in their company. Easy bicycle storage. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you both for making our stay so special, we would love to return again one day. Best wishes.

I was very ill on arrival at the hotel. The reception staff were excellent in assisting, by calling local paramedics who took me to hospital. On my return, the hotel arranged for us to stay in our original room when we necessarily extended our stay by 24 hours. We liked everything about the hotel that we were able to use and see, but obviously in view of my medical condition, we were restricted in our enjoyment.

It's an amazing property set very privately down a lane but only a few minutes from Domfront and all it has to offer. We were warmly welcomed and found our stay to be relaxing and comfortable. Everything one needed was supplied including a wonderful choice of breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and beautifully decorated. We will definitely recommend it and stay there again.

The apartment was very well equipped and full of character. It was in a very convenient location, easy walking distance to local amenities and a very short drive to the local main supermarket. The location was ideal for visits to attractions all over the area by car but if you just wanted to forget the car there is lots to do in Domfront itself.
