Staying the Hotel de la Cathedrale was such an amazing experience that I can only wholeheartedly recommend. We were greeted with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival and then personally escorted to our magical room on the top floor under the wooden beams of the ancient roof with the most perfect view of the stunning 14th century Cathedral. We had requested a view of the Cathedral and a view we got. The breakfast buffet was nice and varied, the service impeccable, and the fruit display a veritable piece of art. There was a bit of noise from the street in the evening, but that's to be expected when one stays in the heart of a lively city. There's an impressive choice of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and then of course all the amazing historical sites in and around Metz. I fell in love with Metz and will definitely stay at the Hotel de la Cathedrale next time :-)

We travel with family and friends. The place is very cenrtal, step out and you are on one of the main shopping streets. All sightseeings, bars, cafes, restaurants, shops - everything is wakling distance. There are pretty cheap parking options a few meters away (Cathedral parking is 8.60euro per day). Great location to explore the city. In addition the room was very spacious, and clean. The people are also sooo friendly. You can have breakfast or just sit in the lobby and have a drink. We had great time and plan to come again. Can only reccomment it. Excellent place

    We were coming from Belgium and had a short plan to visit Metz and it was the right place to be. Not very far away from city and easy to access, on the outskirts, so less traffic etc. Hotel was just perfect for the price we paid. No complaints.....

    We have stayed at premier Classe hotel previously on our journey which we found excellent value for money , so decided to book again, when we arrived we wished we hadn’t . The only thing positive was the location ie close to major roads
