Apart from the lavish pool and the great service in the hotel and restaurant, the staff were extremely helpful when upon leaving we discovered that we had a flat tire. The hotel manager pointed us to all local garages, sat with us as we tried to find a solution and offered us in the meantime a glass of wine while we enjoyed the pool a little bit longer than expected. These little extras are what make a great hotel perfect. We will definitely come back and recommend this place.

It was a very good basic room and very convenient if you need the railway station. It's a bit more of a walk to the centre but ok. The lady in the bar who checks you in is lovely.

    A car is essential and Lancie is a great location for exploring Beaujolais, however, Lancie itself was very quiet and we would have liked open restaurants or shops we could walk to. But there were wonderful restaurants within a 10 minute drive and a large supermarket close by ( if you have a car).
