Great location, in the middle of fields and wood, a quite place. Very warm welcome, thanks Tracy. Lots of extra positive things: dishwasher, washing machine, a very nice sofa, seats outside, a parking place in front of the house, a table outside to eat in the sun in the evening. The renovated house looks very nice, very natural and is spotless.

We were there for a wedding ceremony in Auberge du Pont Calleck. This was just a 4 minute drive away. The area iis very picturesque with a beautiful river flowing through the valley.. ideal for walking and cycling.

Everything. It was a positive surprise in our way to the north of Britanny. The room was big, tasty, clean, excellent bed, high quality pillows, the bath large and spotless, with a window! In sum, the dreamed place to rest. The team was fantastic, kind and approachable. We look forward to come back soon to aux sabots rouges to further explore the area.

    Lignol is very close (about 15 min. by car) to chapels and churches, which are splendid. Don't miss: Chapelle de St.Fiacre and Chapelle de St.Barbe in Le Faouët, Chapelle de St.Nicolas, and Notre-Dame de Kernascléden. Some of them inside have magnificent worked and polychrome wood "jubés" from the 15th-16th century. They are very interesting. Also the wall painting inside Kerneskladen is well worth it. We will come back as we still have some villages and churches to visit. From the Chapelle St Barbe you can take pleasant walks near or not the river. Further away we also liked the church of the la Trinité de Langonnet. A monumental heritage that we were completely unaware of.
