I ended up in Millau by accident when my car broke down on the highway. When I arrived at the hotel I had booked overnight it was raining and the pizza prepared by the hotel was cold. I brought a bike with me, and despite the hilly terrain, I found it manageable and not a bad way to view both the town and the Viaduct. The Viaduct Visitor Centre can be accessed from the ordinary road network (by car or bicycle) and has and excellent high level viewing platform as well as a cafe and toilets etc. There are also special walking and cycling paths which take you under the Viaduct and through one of the concrete pillars. Central Millau is interesting in its own right with a lot old historic buildings alongside the river Tarn.Guest review byAndrew
