Friendly helpful staff. Superb facilities. Great room, spacious, spotless - opened March 2024 so brand new and looked it. Loved the decor. Bathroom super, shower we wonderful, bed very comfortable, efficient air con. Kettle in room - hooray! Complimentary drinks in most public spaces. Lovely pool. Didn't use the spa. Nice meal in garden restaurant - pork confit was delicious. Breakfast superb with lots of choice including fresh apricots apples and peaches as well as fruit salad. A really super place at a great price.

I did not eat the breakfast although I did have dinner which I reserved in advance because meals are provided by an outside catering service (which itself could have done better than serving boeuf bourguignon in a round drinking-glass-style vessel which made it impossible to properly use a knife and fork unless you dumped it out on a plate). Dinner was an okay value of lettuce and duck gizzard salad (very nice), the boeuf bourguignon (nothing special), and a lime-infused whipped mascarpone with red berry coulis (nice) for €25. The waitress recommended local wine Roumegnac which did not disappoint. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nothing short of stunning--large glass walk-in shower with a very nice showerhead, lovely huge beige stone tiles, a charming freestanding bowl sink. Featured a hair dryer and towels, of course, but oddly there was no towel bar next to sink for a hand towel. Minor issue to be sure. A bar of hand soap and an all-purpose gel in the shower are the sole toiletries provided. (And I didn't realize the gel dispenser wasn't working until I was already in the shower; it took some doing, but eventually I managed to fix it.) I was really pleased that they let me bring my little dog and we were just one flight up which meant it was easy to duck out to walk her a few times. Overall, staff were very friendly and helpful, eager to please, and tried to speak as much English as they could manage for me, which I very much appreciated.

    Montauban is a very attractive town with its own character and atmosphere. It is easy to walk around. The Ingres/Bourdelle Museum is superb - especially the room with the Ingres drawings. A lovely place for a stay.

    I think we picked the right weekend.

    I think we picked the right weekend. Hot sun and a Saturday afternoon, wine flowing and good food being served made for a great vibe. Lots of cafés and restaurants, easy to get around with lots of 'arty things' to see and buy

    Perfect little French town, lovely vibe and friendly locals! The town was just like a film set :) Also great selection of bars, restaurants and food! So easy too get round on foot and visit the main attractions such as the square and the river, museum etc! All round a beautiful experience!

    Do not stay at 510 romantic getaway…..

    Do not stay at 510 romantic getaway….. It was clean and tidy but is a cover. The games room/jacuzzi is mirrored and has a pole for pole dancing with seating in front, there’s a hidden door to a bondage room, we were disgusted at both that and the obvious remnants of the previous or possibly numerous clients in the jacuzzi. This is not a family friendly rental but a specific bondage sex retreat. If our children had found the bondage room (which has no lock, we had to block it with furniture) I would have been making serious complaints, I cannot imagine how I would have explained it to a 12 year old girl.

    It was an excellent stop-over.

    It was an excellent stop-over. Parking couldn’t be more convenient. The check-in was easy. Staff very helpful throughout. The room was clean & spacious. Very nice dinner in the Brasserie, staff charming & helpful, food was really good too. Recommended.

    Big place plenty of large out of town retail parks for both supermarket shopping and restaurants, a shame that the local council re-numbered all the properties on the street where the property was located. Caused confusion for the sat nav.

    Interesting history attached to the property. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Parking options excellent… outside or underground. Great when you have a lot of stuff in the car. The young staff at both this hotel and its twin were absolutely superb, helping me out with a problem and going the extra mile. Good location to walk into the town for restaurants

    We had a lovely three days I Vanille Bourbon. Our host was welcoming and helpful. We had a generous and good continental breakfast. The accomotion was very convenient for Montauban and some excellent restaurants both near the house and in the town.
