We had an amazing stay at Domaine Du Roucou for a long weekend. The owners, Dominique and Christophe were very friendly and caring! Also their lovely pets Albus and Pepper were adorable. The rooms were spacious and cool and the swimmingpool well maintained. An absolute paradise in the Dordogne! Thank you for having us! :)

The staff were excellent, nothing was a problem. We arrived and on asking for a local restaurant, were immediately offered a 3 course meal at a better price than any restaurant. And the food was awsome

Peaceful, beautiful location. Accommodation was perfect. Very comfortable. Kitchenette was fully equipped with top quality fittings and utensils. Friendly, helpful staff. Welcome drink on beautiful terrace. Only 5 minute drive to historic village Domme.

Hidden gem. Almost hesitant to give it a good review because no doubt prices will skyrocket next season. They act as a hotel d’etappe, but you can easily spend a week here to explore the region. Which I did. Staff are friendly, pools (!) are perfect, grounds extremely well kept. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. All in all a bit thumbs up from me and I will return.

Charming building with comfortable, cosy bedrooms and a stunning dining room. The food, both the breakfasts and the dinners were excellent. The proprietors could not do enough for us. We were having enormous problems with Audi in Mougins because our car had broken down there and they wouldn’t fix it and M. Lacan repeatedly called on our behalf. We stayed an extra night and would have stayed longer if possible. The hotel is five minutes from the centre of Gourdon but in a lovely, quiet spot.

This is an amazing property in rural France. If you want a break away from the city, book this place. They have a number of rooms/ homes for you to stay in. They have a beautiful pool that we were not able to use because we only stayed one night. And we enjoyed walking around the small village where the property is located. The host was very friendly and helpful. There is also a lot to explore in the area.
