Nice is a beautiful town, one of the cleanest and friendliest in the area. All the restaurants are great, we stayed in the port area this time and it was a much quieter area but equally as nice as the old town area. This was a quick weekend trip for an event, but I also walked around the city, saw the old chateau and the Marc Chagall museum, and went for a quick swim at the beach. Very beautiful and clean city. We enjoyed the Old town, Castel Hill Promenade and Place Massena. We booked a walking tour with a guide, went on the electric train and booked a tour to explore the French Rivera (Eze, Monaco, Monte Carlo) and a yacht activity. We stayed here and found three days enough to explore Nice and most of the French Rivieria. Lovely cafes and resturants and we found it to be very affordable/priced well.
