Fantastic location in a beautiful building and brilliant little hill town. We had booked the smaller rooms as the hotel is quite expensive but we’re upgraded when we arrived as the place was not full. Fantastic to be in these very generous rooms on the first floor. Breakfast was delicious and extremely good value.

I had the most incredible experience staying at À la Renommée Hotel in France. From day one, Laurence and Stéphanie, the lovely owners, made me feel so welcome and were incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The view from my room was absolutely stunning, and the bedroom itself was cozy and beautifully decorated. I truly felt at home throughout my stay. It’s also worth noting that the hotel is only a 30-minute walk to Vézelay, with breathtaking views along the way, following the pilgrim’s path. It’s a lovely and peaceful walk. A big thank you to Laurence and Stéphanie for making my visit so special. Also, I have to mention that the wine, honey, and fresh truffle they sell are absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming, welcoming, and peaceful getaway.     On approaching the hotel for the first time, it is clearly a jewel of a location. It as very peaceful, and calming. The breakfast was excellent, and the evening meal was good, if a little pricey. The staff were very helpful, see point below. The black cat was quick to say hello. Fantastic area, lots to see and do.

    A lovely, friendly hotel. We stay as a stop off on the way to Calais. This time the weather was not kind, but it is a beautiful spot to sit by the river and relax after a long drive. The rooms are small, as you may expect from an old Templar mill, but very comfortable and clean.
