This is an amazing place, a large house in a country village with very friendly and helpful staff (we managed even though the language barrier). Large bedrooms, and a sitting room, dining room and kitchen available to use if wanted. Set in a beautiful garden. Very comfortable beds and we were offered breakfast at a reasonable cost when we arrived, too. One night wasn't enough; if we didn't live so far away in the UK we'd be back as soon as we could and have a longer stay here!

Gorron is a lovely small town. The host, Fred, was very friendly and helpful. All basic facilities were provided and it is a good-sized room. I did some remote working and enjoyed some evening sunshine through the window. A pleasant house in a lovely small town. I would visit again

Lisa and Dave are the most charming, welcoming, helpful hosts that you can imagine, when staying in a picturesque French countryside B&B. It is just impressive how they have turned an old farmhouse into a beautifully restored and comfy accommodation. We just loved it! Our dog just loved it! We will be coming back and definitively plan more than one night. "Le petite barn" is a well hidden gem between Paris and the Atlantic coast.

    Lovely spot and the owners were so friendly. Breakfast was a fast-track French lesson (with home cooked crepes, cakes and lovely bread and homemade jams). Stay here a week and you'll be fluent! Thank you!
