Stunning property housed in the old post building. The high ceilings and beautifully curated decor create an atmosphere of both elegance and comfort. The location is perfect, with a spacious field nearby, ideal place to throw the ball for your dog. Additionally, the area offers great amenities like tennis and basketball courts, as well as a calisthenics park for fitness enthusiasts. Not far from the river to swim in. Local bakery with all the delicious goods. I highly recommend this gem in St. Severin for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay here. Vincent and Johanna were wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The chateau is a fantastic building with large, beautifully decorated rooms, complete with antique furniture and very comfortable beds. The chateau is set in lovely surroundings with great views and my husband spotted a deer whilst strolling through the woods. The breakfast was great too with lots of choice and it was beautifully presented. We highly recommend a stay here and hope to return with the rest of our family.

    Saint-Severin itself isn't anything incredibly special (...

    Saint-Severin itself isn't anything incredibly special (although it has many services that are very useful- gas, grocery stores, etc.)...but it is in a great location for exploring the area, and there are many wonderful villages and areas nearby. We stayed on our way between the Loire Valley and La Dordogne, and it was the perfect stopping point. The countryside is very beautiful- take the time to get lost on the backroads and stop at the historic sites that are well marked (but weren't on google maps).
