We enjoyed walking around the neighbourhoods, the friendliness of locals, nice range of pubs and excellent meals. We enjoyed walking thru the fields behind the top of Constitution Hill (furnicular). We spent lovely half a day at the National Library and surrounds. Beach and promenade is lovely and especially around the spit beyond the castle. Beautiful view, captivating scenery with local hikes and walks available. I loved the ride on the steam train from Aberystwyth to Devils Bridge. I liked the town, the castle, and promenade. We had a lovely walk through the town! Research where to eat. We had fish and chips on the pier very dry and tasted lick cardboard. Our room was comfortable slightly on the small size but had a nice bed and good quality linen. Due to it bending February the bar closed early but appeared to have a great selection of wine. Breakfast was really very good. My husband had eggs with avocado and I had the cooked and both had good quality produce.
