I would seriously consider the 2hour drive to get a chance for another plateful lol. Room was clean, full place is clean, warm and comfy and the beer was even better.. definitely a hidden gem for sure and if a could give more than 10/10 a would.. definitely be there again..Guest review byJasonUnited Kingdom

Not only is the food varied and delicious, but they also make a point of promoting the many farms and businesses which supply their ingredients, which is admirable. Add to this a comfortable, well-appointed room and a beer garden with glorious views over the Borders countryside, and you have a top-quality stay.
