This was the best place we stayed in. The dinner and breakfast were amazing. The food was high quality and tasted delicious! We loved eating in their dinning room, it had so much charm. Our rooms were delightful! The room above the pub where me and my husband slept was the best of the four rooms we had. My children had three rooms out the back in a separate building and I would have preferred to have them in the same building above the pub. That being said they were very conformable and had a great time.

The town is very quiet and even on a Saturday seems to be...

The town is very quiet and even on a Saturday seems to be dying on it's feet but there are numerous pubs and several reasonably priced restaurants (we were very happy with Frango's and The Golden Dragon. The Andover Tap is worth a call for real ale drinkers. on the positive side, there were no gangs roaming the streets and we felt very safe, Also, their British Legion(open to visitors) has music on a Saturday night and has been very well refurbished. The staff , members we met and the Secretary Sarah were very welcoming.We'd say that Andover is better used as a good base for travelling round the area.

Andover is a clean small compact town, with good parking and a selection of pubs, restaurants and bars though railway station is a 10-15 walk. It had good connections from the A303 and just a short drive from the M3 intersection.

The location was ideal for travelling on to the West Country...

The location was ideal for travelling on to the West Country and was a perfect place to break a long journey. Andover was very pretty and had a few pubs and restaurants nearby. The rest of the town was very quiet in the evening. The shopping centre had some nice shops including Waitrose for stocking up.

A lovely towncentre during the day but when trying to find an evening restaurant it is lacking . One pub that had good trip advisor reviews no longer serves food leaving only Weatherspoons or Pizza Express unless you like Chinese or Indian. I've never seen so many Turkish Barbers in one town! There are a lot of empty shops on the High Street which makes the town look run down.Probably due to the modern shopping centre that has some nice shops.

Probably quite a nice town, we didnt see much of it as we were there for bike racing at Thruxton, I dare say its not a bad place to explore the scenery and of course the henge etc, Just pick a better hotel.

Room was clean bed was comfortable. Sadly what let the room down was a discusting dirty carpet,stains all over had not been cleaned for a very long time! Breakfast was a disappointment.no egg options fried or scrambled Bacon was underdone! I understand that this hotel was used until 2023 for iligal migrants.good enough for them,but not good enough for paying customers I'm afraid! The male receptionist could hardly speak English! Won't be staying there again im sorry to say. Iv stayed in far better best westerns.

Lovely friendly welcome, clean refreshed and quiet room, free parking right in the centre of town, town centre location with lots of pubs and restaurants a step away. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Instructions for the car park clear and easy to follow, communication from the hotel via email was helpful
