Great place for an overnight stay, as we were catching the Ferry to Mallaig the next day. We had to leave to catch the ferry before breakfast started, but they let us make toast and take some fruit for the road and even gave us some freshly baked goods. Ardvasar is cute and I could have stayed much longer. If you have a car it’s easy to get around all of Skye. Cafe 1925 in Ardvasar is perfect! There’s lots of sheep, beautiful ocean views, lots of cute little birds and friendly folks!Guest review byKristiCanada - 10.0

Beautiful scenery, ideal for walks- sound of Sleat, Tarskavhaig. Pier and shops nearby- fabulous pottery. A trip to the Castle and grounds also worthwhile. Rather quiet but there is a nice Hotel/restaurant/pub and a good local shop. There are some amazing walks round the Armadale Estate and also in the gardens. Within a few miles there are several excellent hotel restaurants and the amazing new Torabhaig distillery.Guest review byDavid
