Pleasant village with cafes, chippies, restaurants, B&Bs, hotels, pubs & some history. Spectacular sandy beach which is dog friendly. Clean & tidy - a well looked after area. What we saw of Bacton, was lovely it has a coffee shop and there is a couple of convenience stores to choose from. It is a lovely clean area and is only a half hour drive to Cromer and 35 minutes to Sheringham which we stopped off at and it was beautiful there. I used to live just up the coast at Happisburgh when I was a lot younger and we always return to the area at least once or twice a year. Bacton beach is perfect, very quiet.
Bacton beach is perfect, very quiet. Don't be put off by the gas works, we couldn't actually see them from our accommodation. It's easy to get to Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The local ice cream is delicious especially lemon curd😊Guest review bysusanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Very pleasant place right on the coast. Not over commercialised, a nice scattering of interesting shops. Well situated for food and drinks, (Large Pub next door). It was located right among several other resorts on the Norfolk Coast, which were easily accessible.Guest review byAnonymous

Loved it. So quirky and lots of interesting characters to have a good chat and drink with. Well, the menu is rather large, so many choices to the point its over the top. No complaints from us. Nice dinner and even a great cooked breakfast. All the staff were so attentive to our needs and loved the smiles in the morning at breakfast.
