    What we saw of Bacton, was lovely it has a coffee shop and...

    What we saw of Bacton, was lovely it has a coffee shop and there is a couple of convenience stores to choose from. It is a lovely clean area and is only a half hour drive to Cromer and 35 minutes to Sheringham which we stopped off at and it was beautiful there. We ate at the accommodation which was the Poachers Pocket, and the food was fabulous and good value for money.

    I used to live just up the coast at Happisburgh when I was a lot younger and we always return to the area at least once or twice a year. The whole coast is absolutely superb but fast disappearing due to coastal erosion but we have some wonderful memories of past holidays along the coast from Sheringham down to Gt.Yarmouth.

    We really enjoy going to Bacton. Beautiful beach and quiet. You can walk to Walcott by beach or walking by road. Close to Happisburgh and Sea Palling. Not too far from Sherringham and Cromer. Not too far from the B-roads

    Bacton beach is perfect, very quiet.

    Bacton beach is perfect, very quiet. Don't be put off by the gas works, we couldn't actually see them from our accommodation. It's easy to get to Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The local ice cream is delicious especially lemon curd😊

    Very pleasant place right on the coast.

    Very pleasant place right on the coast. Not over commercialised, a nice scattering of interesting shops. Well situated for food and drinks, (Large Pub next door). It was located right among several other resorts on the Norfolk Coast, which were easily accessible.

    Lovely beach, great little cafe,ice cream parlour and fish shop along the front. Great shop sold most things,while stocked.Pochets pocket pub on the front but didn't rate the food. Definitely gone down hill since the last time I ate there.

    The property is located next to a Fantastic clean sandy beach, so relaxing to hear the sound of the waves and to be able to just to be able to walk a few yards form the property onto the beach. I would recommend Poachers Pocket Sea View to anyone that needs a bit of timeout relaxation. The staff where very friendly and dog friendly..the food was good and could take your dogs into the restaurant or you could eat outside and enjoy the wonderful veiw of the beach and sea. We will most certainly be back again.

    Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! Beautiful location, the beach is literally at the end of the driveway and only a short distance from shops etc with a pub right next door. Mandy and her staff were fantastic, so lovely and helpful. The room was spotless and beautiful, we didn’t want to leave! Breakfast was lovely and the waitress was super friendly and helpful. I love the added touch of all the seal items all around! Will definitely be returning

    Everything you could want or need from this sort of accommodation, and hosts delightful to deal with. Whole experience was very easy with no stress. Location is great, very peaceful and only a couple of minutes to the amazing beach at Bacton. We stayed with 2 small dogs and thoroughly enjoyed it :) will be back!

    We had a lovely week at the Summer Breeze caravan in Bacton, it’s a 5 minute walk to a wonderful beach where we walked every day with a shop, chip shop and nice coffee shop close by and it’s a short drive to many lovely places to discover
