We could not speak more highly of Langass Lodge. The staff were exceptionally kind, particularly given my wife was not well when we arrived. The accommodation was excellent. The room was spacious, warm and clean. The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. The views from our bedroom windows were outstanding. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel. We also appreciated the fact that the carparking was actually on site and adjacent to our room where so many places which advertise carparking actually only offer public street parking, etc.

    Balivanich is an ideal location for a stay over while exploring North Uist, South Uist & Benbecula. Everything you need locally. Easy access to explore the Uist islands. The roads are narrow, but easy to drive, the causeways linking the islands are so scenic and lovely to drive. Access to the Isle of Harris via the Berneray to Leverburgh ferry. Easy access to Lochmaddy ferry. Lots of scenic locations for budding photographer’s & bloggers. The Gin distillery, pony trekking, smokehouse & bakeries. Don’t miss the Scandinavian bakery.

    Beautiful community. All helpful.

    Beautiful community. All helpful. Charlie’s Bistro and staff excellent with great service . Beaches amazing. Gin distillery excellent. Owner very knowledgeable. Gin great. Dark isle hotel had great food and drinks. Taxi driver Iain most helpful.
