Helpful and delightful friendly staff. The hotel is in a very nice part of town and handy to the city centre. It's in an old building that has been refurbished very well. Even although there are limited parking spaces, we always got one. The breakfasts were all we expected.

Lovely clean place. Staff were just brilliant and breakfast was amazing. I had to get up early and they especially got up as well so myself and my little boy could have breakfast. Really helpful. Everything was so clean and comfortable. It’s a must to go there. We didn’t have any dinner but that looked amazing too. Would highly recommend. Bradley BEDFORD

Staff amazing and friendly. Great room and ensuite bathroom. Loved the seasonal decorations (Halloween). Comfortable and cosy and inviting from the outside and interior, option of low lighting and loved the chandelier look of the main accommodation lighting. Highly recommended to travellers near to the town centre (approx 15-20 mins) and 10 mins to Sainsbury's which is easy to find. Great hotel.

Bedford is a lovely little historic market town in the heart of Bedfordshire. It offers plenty of sightseeing, attractions, leisure and a great variety of shops to anyone looking for a bargain or just simply window shopping. The Great River Ouse also along with the embankment offers endless peaceful tranquil walks if that is what you are looking for. Bedford has great connections to not far from the M1 motorway, A1 road and rail links to London. All in all a great place to visit.

The river and walks along it are lovely. The town itself is tired and dated. So many shops shut down and a lot of homeless on the streets. That is a shame as I am sure it was once a thriving market town.

too many foriegn languages for me,lots of doorway sleepers and unfortunates around the centre of town, lovely by the river and loads of peaceful walking, good touring spot, but the town did nothing for me.But i suspect like a lot of our towns and city's lack of funding and lack of atmosphere didn't sell it,just a fast food delivery centre.......joe

Bedford is steeped in history and has a cultural vibe. Plenty to do and see in Bedford and surrounding areas. Well known for the iconic landmarks of the Cardington Hangers which stands out for miles. Wether shopping in town or a peaceful picturesque walk along the embankment Bedford offers a huge variety of things to do as we'll as having great transport links to London via the railway station and the M1 and A1 not being to far.

Bedford farming/small village town in the day with major brands in the city Centre and personality Unfortunately the High Street is now almost dead but just cheap secondhand charity shops nail shops and cheap low spec food shops the town centre self chaperone by the beehive shopping Centre that should be really closed down adjacent streets near the old police station bulldozed as they’re always generally full of drunks Waves and strays. The only shine in the gem is the river the river as the old swimming pool and power station have now been knocked down with the erection of an arcade and retail empty units or a dump.

All the facilities, I have been before and enjoyed my stay there, so this time! The staff pleasant, attentive and vey helpful as I had a bit of pb with my mobile phone and helped with an another lead from the Hotel. I lived in Bedford many years ago so it was really great to be in familiar ground again! I have known the Hotel many many years ago in fact my own mother and a friend stayed there but it wasn't the confort standard it has now with the change of ownership!

Location ideal to get to Bedford Park Festival from the "quiet" direction. Facilities provided were well thought out, the quality was excelllant and nothing we needed was missing. Unfortunately rain prevented a breakfast on the lovely terrace. For basically a single room the layout was very practical and had good distinct zones (lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom) Would happily book again
