Beautifully set in a peaceful location. Family close to hand but private entrance and seating area. Fully equipped with attention to detail for every need. Sofa bed extremely comfortable and enough room to leave down. Perfect getaway for those seeking a peaceful break with walks close to hand but every day life 10 minutes away. Mobile phone reception worked perfectly for checking emails etc. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for hosting us.

Absolutely everything, without out doubt the best guesthouse in town. I’d surprised my with and adventure to Eastnor castle to the JLR experience and dragged two of my sons along too. It took a crowbar to prise them away from this stunning house, gardens and beautiful couple who have soo much into renovating this home. Well done Kiel and Stuart we look forward to seeing you in January with the rest of our family The Cleary’s Vintage1962

This is a beautiful old 16th century property with all the quirkiness you might expect of such an old building. The beds were very comfortable and we found it quiet at night for sleeping. We met the charming owner Kate when we went to the cafe downstairs for breakfast. Kate was very helpful and wanted to hear any criticisms we might have to help them improve.

The locals were/are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The Chase Inn is the main focal point of the village. There are some easy/interesting walks from the Inn which if not for the heat we would have doubtless enjoyed!

Nice clean room - the flushing system in the toilet not that great. The staff were very nice, however a bit precious about dogs being allowed on the furniture. I brought blankets for them to lie on the floor anyway. Also a bit precious about using the fire escape during day time hours.

Lovely welcome, the room was perfect.

Lovely welcome, the room was perfect. There was a log fire burning in the bar. And we were given complimentary potato skin fries to enjoy with our afternoon drink whilst watching the rugby, a lovely touch and very much enjoyed. Our evening meal was delicious, well presented and very good portions. The white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake is to die for - the best cheesecake ever tasted!

Family run business that’s very friendly and welcoming. Our room had all the facilities: WiFi connection, really comfortable beds and extra heater if you felt cold. Hosts wonderful people. You can just drink and relax with hot food or breakfast with great views. Best if all quiet location for peace of mind. We had no problem finding the location as we travelled from Dover.

Stayed at the Chase for two nights while visiting Bishops Frome Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Although we were a little early for check in, they took pity on two cold tired bikers and let us up to our room. Breakfast both days was really tasty and we enjoyed a nice evening meal as well as lots of pints of cider. Thank you for a lovely stay
