Perfect location and a great seaside town hotel, perfectly located for the Opera House / Winter Gardens, and many bars & restaurants. A two minute walk to the beach and pier. Lovely greeting from Robert, who also cooked us a great breakfast! Spotlessly clean. Parking on the road to the side of the hotel, or secure parking for a small charge a few yards away. We were called the day before by Carol, the owner, asking if we would like to check in early. Overall, extremely helpful and accomodating.

Fantastic host, welcomed us in and showed us to out room explained everything about the hotel to us. Great sized room with big TV, robes, slippers shower gels and got drink making facilities. Hotel is situated in an excellent location pretty much in-between the tower and the pleasure beach with a tram stop nearby if you don't fancy walking. We come to Blackpool around the same time for a few nights every year and this will be the hotel we will look at first going forward.

FAQs about hotels in Blackpool

Beside the Seaside, Beside the Sea

A favored vaction spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.

On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!

More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognizable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modeled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.

A popular bachelor and bachelorette destination, Blackpool has accommodations ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.

Blackpool is a very vibrant and busy coastal resort, it is a shame that many of the coastal buildings and those just of the main strip look very run down and mucky. There are some very nice parts of Blackpool but there are some very disappointing run down areas which could do with some action from the council.

I go to Blackpool every year just for a break from work to see the fire works and lights and shopping for Christmas plugs we like walking from one end to the other . Black pool is great at the seaside front with lots off shops but it's getting a bit run down with all the closed shops and hotels.it needs money pumping back into it to make it great again.

There are so many different types of entertainment appealing to all ages. It is a lively, fun and colourful resort and the Promenade is all flat and easy to get around. The trams and buses are so numerous and regular and make getting about so easy. There are theatres offering a variety of shows and there are lots of pubs offering free live entertainment every night. .Also so many places to eat band so many kids entertainment venues....the circus and Sea Life are but two of many. I would recommend Blackpool to anyone of any age. 👍👍

The purpose of our visit was to visit Blackpool zoo & it didn’t disappoint. Such a lovely zoo & the bonus was that we saw the 5 week old baby elephant! It’s a well planned out zoo with a wide range of animals & birds. Also visited Stanley park which is a well established park with boating lake, fishing, skate parks, tennis courts. Fabulous Art Deco cafe which sold the most delicious homemade meals. Next visit we will go to The Model Village & Martin Mere as well. All these attractions are within a very pleasant 10-15 min walk from the hotel.

Visit every year for illuminations and especially world fireworks. Never disappointed. Always visit Umami world restaurant for excellent food at a good price. Again, never disappoints. Usually have a walk in Stanley Park and a nice coffee. This visit to Blackpool was particularly good as we also got really good weather!!!

This hotel is an absolute gem and such good value for money. The hotel itself is immaculate and clean, plenty of room in the bedrooms which were also spotlessly clean. The staff are brilliant and so helpful We paid for the breakfast, it was a great breakfast, and there’s a coffee machine you’re free to use for the entirety of the stay. We went down with a large group of family and it was a great place to relax, with the bar and the pool table. Best hotel I’ve stayed in at Blackpool by a mile

for the money, it's excellent. you can easily pay £100 a night for a very basic hotel room these days- and the Coco Beach, watched over by its proprietor Jay, offers "cheap and cheerful" traditional Blackpool seaside lodgings at their classic best. Don't: expect a private jacuzzi in your room. Do: enjoy a "best of British" seaside getaway without breaking the bank.

Would definitely come back if in Blackpool again. The location was excellent for the train station, Blackpool town centre, seafront and the nightlife. Alot of work is going on in the public areas. Will definitely look forward to seeing the Hotel in the future once the work is completed. The room was comfy and had everything we needed for a nights stay.

Eggs Benedict wasn’t the best I’ve had but everything else we got was bob on. Bed was comfy. It’s one of the better cheap Blackpool hotels I’ve stayed in. Would return.
