The staff were awesome, so helpful and nice! Perfect spot in Stow-on-the-Wold. Only thing? The bed was too soft. Otherwise, it was amazing. Totally worth the money.

Gorgeous period building, renovated to a modern (but still kept original character) high standard. Rooms were cosy, with extremely comfortable beds and great extra touches such as the tea tray with high quality products which was topped up each day. The cooked breakfast was fantastic and staff were super lovely and welcoming. Couldn’t ask for a better location with a handy carpark adjacent. We will definitely return.

For room, a lot of care is made to ensure comfort of guests, eg. the wooden toilet seat, the free coffee and drinks, etc. For breakfast, they are delicious and the serving is generous. I am overfed! Dinner is really value for $$, the variety offer breaks monotony.

During my stay at Number Four at Stow Hotel, I was particularly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff, especially Jonathan. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests, making our experience truly memorable. The room was impressively spacious, offering ample space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. It was immaculately clean, reflecting the hotel’s high standards of hygiene and comfort. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The quality of the food was outstanding, providing a perfect start to our days. A lovely quirky old pub with strange steep stairways and steps combined with low ceilings all over the place. Our room was quite spacious as was our bathroom. There was loads iof hot water and large bath sheets, along with hand towels. The biggest impression we came away with was how incredibly helpful the staff were. They were polite and courteous, friendly and very helpful and eager to help. We greatly enjoyed our dinner and breakfast, all beautifully presented and served. A really good but oh too short a stay!

We only stayed overnight so didn't see the area but what we saw was pretty enough. We came for the Kings Head which is a perfect place to stay the night before we checked into our holiday accommodation.

Justine the host at The Sheiling was really helpful, advising us on places to visit, places to eat . She was genuinely interested in our itinerary. The shepherds hut is beautifully kept, there’s everything in it that you could possibly need. Everyone we met in the village were friendly and welcoming. The Kings Head pub is about a five minute walk away . The staff are very attentive and the food is excellent . There’s a great outdoor seating area and a dining room, as well as seating in the bar area. I’d recommend it to anyone . The village shop / cafe is volunteer run . There’s just a really nice community feel to the village . We’d definitely be happy to have a return visit to Bledington.

A typical Cotswold village without the tourists.

A typical Cotswold village without the tourists. The village pub was nice with good food at a reasonable price. The village shop/cafe was good for all essential items. Definitely would recommend a car for the area to visit all of the other tourist spots in the cotswolds (if that is the purpose of the visit), although we did see a local bus service which would probably allow onward travel to the bigger towns such as Stow on the Wold or Chipping Norton (we did not check the bus timetables so this is just an assumption). There are no tourist spots to speak of here, more of a jumping off point to other locations. I would probably stay in Bledington again were I to be visiting the Cotswolds

    A very quiet Cotswold village.

A very quiet Cotswold village. Apart from the pub, there is a church, a village community cafe and shop and a lot of beautiful thatched stone houses. Good walking area, but you will need a car to get there and tour about. Short drive from both Bourton on the Water and Stow in the Wold.

The Cotswold region was gorgeous and this was the perfect place to stay! Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The beautiful patio was a wonderful place to have a drink (when it wasn't raining!). The breakfast was amazing with numerous options to choose from. The pub was an active place in the evening but it was quiet at night when we wanted to sleep. The dinners we had were absolutely delicious! We loved this hotel and the area around it. We would definitely recommend it!

We stayed here for 3 days. This compact caravan offers privacy and all the comfort you need. Bledington is a great base for exploring the Cotswolds. You park in the yard of the friendly owners and there is a typical English pub with dining options within walking distance. The weather was not going well for us. Nevertheless, we had a comfortable stay there
