The property is beautiful so comfortable and clean. We had an Amazing stay in Bourton on the Water. The property has a comfy bed and lovely views looking over the river. We had a delicious breakfast which is delivered to your room at time of your choice. It had a wonderful slipper bath and extra large bathroom with a large shower too. The room is cleaned at your choice too. It was immaculate wonderful cleaner. The property is in great location near shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. It was very easy to check in with the key pad and had great correspondence from the owners explaining everything. We had a wonderful stay at the old banks rooms cannot fault it. We will be back. We would just like to add that don’t let the No Parking put you off. There is parking within walking distance. We went with Just park online where they find you the nearest parking place. We parked in someone’s drive just 5 mins walk and it cost just £17 from 16.00 Fri - 16.00 Sun.

A very attractive town in the Cotswolds, and like many such places, it suffers from its own popularity. I can imagine it's always full of people, so perhaps not the best choice if you are seeking something less populated by tourists. That said, it is worth visiting, as it really is one of England's prettiest villages. Everything seems within walking distance of the village centre.

We have not been to Bourton on the water for a few years. So it was nice to go back for a short trip nothing has really changed there perhaps some of the shops have changed. But basically everything is there that you could need.

Very picturesque, with plenty to see and do.

Very picturesque, with plenty to see and do. Would recommend Smiths Burgers and the Dragonfly Maze. Easy to walk round and near to other places, such as Stow-on-the-Wold if you wanted to go further afield. Would have liked to have seen the Model Village but you couldn't take dogs in. Got a bit too busy for us in the afternoons but we still had a good time.

Very busy, but well worth the effort.

Very busy, but well worth the effort. So much to see and do not only in Bourton but also the surrounding countryside. There are ample venues for food and drink, shopping is on another level. Model village, car museum, bird park are must dos. Upper and Lower Slaughter are just unmissable places to visit (get there before 10:30 am as parking is scarce. The Old new inn, does a great Sunday roast and Mrs Rolts and the Croft for breakfast and lunch.

Bourton is a beautiful place, although suffers as a result as it's very busy. There are some good food and drink options, although the majority of shops seem to offer the same tourist-trap tat. Come in the off-season.

Perfect location, welcomed by a toasty open fire and lovely welcoming bar. Lovely room, clean, comfy and peaceful. The hotel booking comes with free entry to the Model Village which was a lovely touch. This hotel made the Cotswolds feel that little bit more special. Breakfast is served in a beautiful bright room, spoilt for choice! We had a lovely meal in The Tap Room, brilliant service and a friendly environment.

Our room was on the top floor (Room 12) and looked over the waterway and town, and was small but a beautifully appointed room with dormer windows, Bed was super comfortable. The staff were exceptional and we enjoyed a glass of wine and dinner by the fire in a friendly and well stocked bar on the cold winter evenings. This hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds gave us the true English village stay.
